At The Ending, estate planning is more than just cranking out a will on a website, or making a list of physical stuff to give to family. It means taking a look at all the aspects that make your life special, and exploring how you’d like to pass them on or wrap them up.

 

My mission is to provide comprehensive and compassionate assistance to help you prioritize and tackle after-death tasks, ensuring that your legacy is preserved. I am committed to guiding you through the process in a non-judgemental way. Death can tag along with a whole spectrum of emotions. Grief? Anger? Relief? Joy? Come as you are, and you’ll be met with empathy and understanding.

I came to this work because of my own experiences with the loss of loved ones. After the unexpected death of my father, we had to quickly understand the financial matters that he had handled for our family and family business. It was a lot of pressure, and we didn’t know where to find reliable advice. Recently, a dear friend died in an accident, and her dedication to a streamlined, paperless life made understanding her estate nearly impossible when we couldn’t log into her phone or computer. Her family had to piece things together in the slowest, hardest ways. Frustration was high, and grieving was complicated. We discovered that there were ways to configure our own accounts to prevent this scenario from repeating when we die, and I now offer services through The Ending to share that wisdom so others can avoid struggling through similar challenges.
